Getting Started

Workflow People turns your finance and accounting tasks into reusable AI workflows. You describe what you need in plain English, and the app builds a workflow you can run again next month with fresh data.

Quick Start

Already have a .wfp file? (e.g., someone emailed it to you)

  1. Sign in or create an account
  2. Click Open in the top-left and select your .wfp file
  3. You'll see the workflows it contains — click Run on any of them

That's it. The workflow handles the rest.

Starting from scratch?

  1. Sign in and open the AI Assistant
  2. Paste your data (CSV, Excel, or plain text) into the chat
  3. Tell the AI what you want done — it builds a workflow you can run, modify, and re-run

New here? Follow the Your First Workflow tutorial — it takes 3 minutes.

Key Concepts

Concept What it is
Workflow A series of steps that process your data. Each step can use AI, run a calculation, or generate a report.
User Data CSV files you paste or upload into your workspace — bank statements, invoices, chart of accounts, etc.
Session A single run of a workflow. Each run creates a session with its own results and logs.
.wfp file A portable file that packages your workflows, data, and tools into one file you can save, share, or reopen.
Knowledge Reference documents the AI uses when running workflows — your categorization rules, policies, etc.

Tutorials

Work through these tutorials to see what the app can do. Each one uses sample data you can copy and paste — no real financial data needed.
